Tiffany Cone is an anthropologist with a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the Australian National University and a BA (Hons) in CulturalAnthropology from the University of Otago in New Zealand. She is an Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Tiffany has experience conducting ethnographic research and producing documentaries in East Asia, South Asia and the Pacific.Her primary research interests lie in the field of psychological anthropology and include cross-cultural conceptions of the self, practices of self-cultivationand meaning-making, and Buddhist, Daoist and Sufi philosophy and practice. She has published with Palgrave MacMillan, Brill, Routledge, The Asia Pacific Journal of Anthropology and The China Journal.
